The Importance of Court-Ordered Child Custody Mediation in California
In disputes involving the care and raising of children, the California court-ordered mediation process is the single most important stage in deciding the future of our clients' families. We carefully prepare our clients for the mediation process. This is because under custody laws in California, families are required to submit their disputes over children to child development experts. Lawyers are not permitted to participate directly in the process.

Be Prepared
We explain the California child custody mediation process in detail by coaching our clients in what they should or should not do or say during the process. We develop a personalized strategy to get the absolute best results from the mediation process. We suggest the best things to bring to the process and the things that should be left at home. In other words, we give our clients an enormous advantage in the custody mediation process by preparing them carefully to succeed.

What's Best for Your Children
Children are our firm's and our client's Number One priority. We must act responsibly, honestly and intelligently to protect them to the maximum extent possible.

Schedule a Child Custody Mediation Coaching Session
Using a credit card, pre pay to schedule a child custody mediation preparation session. Please note the minimum amount of time necessary for telephone sessions is one hour. Coaching sessions may also be scheduled in our office. Or contact us directly to schedule an in-office coaching session.

What If The Other Party Is Lying?
A party can lie, and many do, even under oath. Such lies amount to "perjury", a crime. Will they be punished? Rarely. Do we use their lies against them? Frequently.

How Long Will It Take?
Child custody mediation in California is usually scheduled a week or so before a court hearing. The results of mediation are usually not reported until the day of the hearing. If a case is referred to a private evaluator, a final court decision could take three to six months.

Why hire a lawyer?
The Kroll firm is almost unique in the degree to which mediation preparation is scheduled and carried out. As a parent preparing for the most important meeting of your life, you will get the feeling of being in control of the situation, of knowing exactly what you are going to do, and will be setting the agenda for the mediation process to ensure the best results.
